Finding Oneself in the Spinning Apartment

In this bustling and crowded city, everyone is running down the path towards an ideal future.

Our confusion, emptiness, contemplation, pause, and emotional shifts flow quietly within this space called the “Spinning Apartment.” This constantly rotating dwelling symbolizes the state of life—revolving in circles, wandering uncertainly, yet holding the potential for progress and transformation. Despite struggles and moments of being lost, we will eventually pass through the shadows and step into the light.

Starting with the visual created by illustrator Abei for TIF 2024, we have expanded it into a full story script and turned it into a 3D animation. This work depicts an emotional journey through the city, immersing viewers in the process of navigating a maze where reality and inner thoughts intertwine, in search of self and moving toward hope.
